The LH3-UC25XL horn loudspeaker is specially designed and certified for installation in environments where explosive gas mixtures may exist. The horn loudspeaker is made of antistatic polyamide material, which is strong and lightweight. The horn loudspeaker designed with a longer horn has a higher sound pressure level and a longer range of coverage.
basic function
The horn speaker label is equipped with a solid stainless steel mounting bracket to allow sound waves to travel in an accurate direction.
The mounting bracket has a ratchet device to ensure that it maintains the correct angle.
The connecting cable passes through the ABS EX cable sealing plug (M20) in the back cover. The back cover can be removed to operate the inner junction box. For loop connections, there is also a hole in the back cover (plugged with a standard plug).
The horn loudspeaker contains a transformer for 100 V input voltage with taps for different power settings on its primary windings.
Different power taps can be easily selected by connecting the corresponding terminals to the 6-way junction box.
In order to enable speaker monitoring, a second set of conductor loops for horn speakers is provided at the interface. Wire loops are usually closed, but if used with monitoring cards, cut them off and reconnect them.

All Bosch loudspeakers meet the IEC 268-5 Power Processing Capability (PHC) standard and can operate continuously for 100 hours at rated power. In addition, Bosch also tested them with simulated acoustic feedback exposure (SAFE) to ensure that they can withstand twice the rated power in a short time. This ensures that speakers have higher reliability under extreme conditions, improves customer satisfaction, prolongs service life, and significantly reduces the probability of failure or performance degradation.
